I look back on my life and view a sea of sin,
Years of selfish yearning, pain and fear,
A life spent wasted in pursuit of pleasure,
A path of shame and heartache, that could only lead me here…
Til at last, I came to face Someone who knows me,
For the shameless thing I am, I know it’s true,
And as I looked into those eyes that could see into the heart
I was forced to realize,

Jesus looked upon the weak and mortal world,
With eyes that looked through glasses made of love
