The night was dark, the air was cool, he felt a little bit like a fool,
When he found that there was no room at the inn,
His young wife smiled, her time had come, before the dawn she’d bear a son,
With just a stable keeping out the wind,
And with the cattle watching, she laid him in a manger,
The One who came to save the world, this little newborn Stranger,
